Who is eligible to apply for The Sara and Warren Welch Foundation scholarship? If you are a Big Spring High School graduate and will be attending college on a full-time basis, you are eligible to apply for the scholarship. How do I apply? Applications may be printed from the application page or by contacting us directly. Is there a deadline for the application? Yes, all applications must be received no later than June 30 of each year the scholarship is desired. Do I have to apply every year? Yes. When do I start repayment of the loan? You will receive information for paying back the loan shortly after your proposed graduation date. You will start repayments four months after graduation. What responsibilities do I have as a loan recipient? Be sure to notify our office of any changes in name, address, school, enrollment status, and any other pertinent information.
